Canadian screening in Vancouver

http://siggraph.ca/festivals/information.php?SPARKA09#20090916-F1

Check it out we are opening the festival! Class.

Stewy and I will be there and hope to see some of our Canadian friends from Skunk Fu!
days over there.

We are doing our "making of" presentation too with loads of concept art and early designs and stuff to show.

I will have to shoot back to Europe for the Cartoon forum in Norway before the end of the week unfortunately but Ross will be around for the whole shebang.

  1. There's a screening on the East Coast of Canada, too! The Secret of Kells has been hand-picked for a Gala screening at the Atlantic Film Festival. It screens Saturday, Sept. 26th at 2pm in the Oxford Theatre, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Tickets are $8, and the Youth Gala usually has hundreds of adorable kids walking the red carpet.

  4. Hi Tom,

Thank you very much for the link address. I've forwarded it to our animation committee who will then look into it. Hope we can make it happen for the KL,M'sia screening of Book of Kells. Cheers!

  6. Hi Tom,
I'm the animation teacher at Capilano University and taught Skunk Fu animators Jesse and Leo. We are one of the few classical animation programs and are now using TV Paint in a big way. I don't know if you and/or Stewy can visit us while you're in Vancouver but drop me a line if you can...dperro at capilanou.ca I'll be at the screening for sure...been waiting forever to see it.
